Mercenaries will now only take on the level of the PC that speaks to them... the issue was one single line of script that called for the average PC XP on the server as opposed to the last PC spoken to.
ALSO, when you dismiss a mercenary now, they will no longer disappear, allowing you to return to them should you so desire later.
This has already been implemented, please test it.

I didn't realize there was a mercenary issue, but I like the change. I tried releasing a female Warrior mercenary in 3 different locations around Lundenwic, and encountered no problems and no fading away.

I also tested the mercenaries and found that they worked well. I logged into a party with El-Nallia and when she took the merc it was level 1, when she released the same mercenary and I took the merc, it was level 10. The changes seem to work well.
