Hello,
I just got to Level 3 with my new character and tried to take a level of Favored Soul. The server will not let me do this and gives a message of "Character has too many feats". I am pretty sure that this is due to the fact that at 1st level, Favored Souls are given the appropriate Weapon Proficiency feat for their deity's favored weapon (in my case it is Exotic for Bastard Sword).
This was a known issue with having the "Legal characters are enforced" option turned on, and apparently has not been fixed. Is there any workaround to this?
Also, I am pretty sure that whenever my character sings his Inspirations, that is the cause of some freeze ups or serious lag for my character but not the rest of the server, apparently. Just an FYI and hopefully there is a fix for that.

A personally have a favored soul character that I have leveled up to lvl 7 and have not had this issue before.
But it is worth looking into further certainly. I would be curious to see what happens to a character in a similar situation that uses only the 'suggested' selections when leveling.

I seem to recall that it was only an issue if you took the first level of Favored Soul or Cleric (which gives bonus feats for their domains) after making the character, meaning you did not start with those classes initially. I took Bard first because they get more skill points, so I figured why not start with that and get a lot of bonus skills. I will try to make an FS and see what happens

Any action that changes stats on the character sheet causes a massive lag spike if I have the character sheet open. |

I need to know your operating system stats (Start [accessories], Run, 'dxdiag' and <save all info> as a .txt file) attached to a message to me.
I also want to know what expansions you are both using please.

Any action that changes stats on the character sheet causes a massive lag spike if I have the character sheet open. Erik, I have had the same problem for some time now too. I have mentioned it to you in the past but I said I would investigate it further. As mentioned above, whenever I view the Character Sheet for more than ~10 sec I start lagging very badly. If I view the Character Sheet for a minute, such as when I level up, then it will not recover from the lag. The only solution is to log off and log back on again. Nowadays, I only view the Character Sheet very briefly, if I have to. Also, I think this must be an Europa problem. I can view the Character Sheet for a long time on other PWs (2 PWs tested) without any lag whatsoever. And the problem arose about 4 to 5 weeks ago (sorry but I can't pinpoint it better). Before then, there was no problem with the Character Sheet and lagging.  |
